The task was to design the form, shape and the facade for a shopping mall located in the suburbs of a South Korean city.
The shopping mall is represented as an organic architectural structure, with a sleek design and minimal disruption of its surroundings. Various retail and cultural functions are incorporated inside, while cafes and restaurants exist both inside and out.
The form consists of 3 half-moon shapes. The first one represented as an introducing form to the building, the entrance. Curved at its central point like an arc underpass, allowing for pedestrians to enter the site and enjoy the magnitude of the complex.
The 2 remaining moons hug the central circle intersected by an amorphous bridge that connects all the shapes together.
